Patrick Hofer entered the race with is Reedy / Proline equipped Team Associated B5M and B44.2. The tracks surface in Gemünden is slippery Astroturf and drivers had to setup their cars well to get a chance for the win.
Patrick won the 4wd buggy class with his Team Associated B44.2. With a TQ and win he showed where he set his national goals in this class.
In 2wd class Patrick had a hot fight with Markus Metsch. Markus won the first heat followed by Patrick. Patrick crashed and did not finish the 2nd heat but won the 3rd and placed his Reedy powered B5M on overall 2nd place.
