Patrick started German Indoor Dirtrace 2012 in 2wd and 4wd electric buggy categories, and finished on 3rd place in 4WD.
In 2wd Patrick used the B4.1 (C4.1 available through HRC Distribution) mid motor conversion kit which offers a better weight balance on carpet tracks.
It was the first time Patrick tested the C4.1. During the qualifyings he tried to find a basic setup. Patrick entered the A Main on position 7 and finished on 4th place overall.
The 4wd category worked a lot better because to more experience in material.
Patrick entered the A Main with his B44.2 on position 4. In the first main Patrick and Kyosho’s top driver Chistopher Krapp showed a hot fight. Patrick lost due to an accident with Christopher and finished on 3rd. In the 2nd final Patrick finished on 2nd place ahaed of Christopher. Benni Gröschel won the race followed by Chistopher Krapp due to his faster 1st main follwed by Patrick Hofer.
