Last week-end was the fourth round of French Nationals, on the new asphalt of the track of Montbrison.<\/p>\n

After difficult debut on Saturday morning, as he can’t participate to the Friday tests as the majority of the other driver (due to job issue), Thomas qualified his Team Magic E4RS4 on the fifth place on the grid. He increased his performance at each run during the two racing days, and found a good setup for the finals and finished on the second place on the podium, behind local hero Jeremy Limoges and in front of Alexandre Laurent.<\/p>\n

Le weekend dernier, j\u2019ai particip\u00e9 \u00e0 la manche 4 du championnat de France qui c\u2019est d\u00e9roul\u00e9e sur la piste fra\u00eechement refaite de Montbrison, avec nouveau bitume et trac\u00e9 . La piste est super plaisante et tr\u00e8s technique de plus elle \u00e9tait trait\u00e9e chaque jour du vendredi au dimanche. Pour ma part je suis arriv\u00e9 le samedi matin avec un setup plut\u00f4t standard mais pas adapt\u00e9 \u00e0 la piste.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

En me rapprochant de mon setup indoor j\u2019ai retrouv\u00e9 un ch\u00e2ssis rapide et performant pour ce type de trac\u00e9 et de grip. Empattement plus court avant et arri\u00e8re, toute les vis sous le support moteur, centre de roulis descendu, moins de prise de carrossage \u00e0 l\u2019enfoncement \u00e0 l\u2019arri\u00e8re et barre anti-roulis arri\u00e8re de 1,2mm . Je me suis qualifi\u00e9 cinqui\u00e8me mais avec un ch\u00e2ssis de mieux en mieux, en final j\u2019ai termin\u00e9 2 fois second pour finir sur la deuxi\u00e8me marche du podium.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
