Nice Job Jari !
Original report from Jari / André vd Wal:
The first round of the 2018 ERCE Open Championship took place at ERCE (Eindhoven, the Netherlands) this past Sunday. It’s our local track, which is technical and offers high grip. The event was well attended, with 15 drivers in the Stock (17.5T) class. The weather was great, around 25 degrees.
I have tested three bodies before the race, the MonTech Racer, the Blitz LSF , and the good old Protoform Mazda 6. It seems that the LSF body was the best choice to race this Sunday.
The car works great from the beginning, without set-up changes the whole day.
In the first final Jari drove a solid race without any mistakes; a bit away from Mark.
In the second final Jari had a very close race with Mark. The car from Mark was realy fast in the straight, but the cornerspeed of the TM of Jari was better.
So TQ and both finals winning and take the day record.
