Nice job Jakub !

Original report from Jakub:

Last weekend was the first round of the Polish championships in Nowy Sacz. It was my first asphalt race this season. I started in the most competitive electric class stock 13.5t the same rules as the ETS series.

Weekend brought good weather and great conditions on the track, from the beginning the speed was with me, but not enough to get TQ in qualifying. On the last qualification I used new tires and the difference was huge, I claim TQ run and beat the track record which was not beaten by others until the end. Nevertheless, previous qualifications were not so good and the next day I started from the 2nd position in the finals.

The finals, unfortunately, did not go my way, in the first I made a mistake at the very beginning and I finished the 3rd, second finale finished 2nd and the third final also finished 3rd which finally gave me 3rd place on the podium.
I am very happy with the result, still a few things to improve, but my Team Magic E4RS4 works great, I look forward to the next races.

Rob Janssen / TM E4RS4 wins Dutch Nats round 1 @ Apeldoorn

The first round of Dutch Nationals was held on 22 April at the mythic track of Apeldoorn, Netherlands. As usual, the Dutch TM drivers joined by Stefan and Jannick Rommens from Belgium participated this national event, in Stock category (the most represented and competitive).

Rob Janssen set the pole position, and won all the three finales, followed by Roy Bakker and Sybrand de Boer. Richard Arts finished 5th, while his brother Ronald finished 8th.

Original Report from Rob Janssen:

Last weekend we had our first round of Nationals at my Local Track AMCA. It promised to be a good weekend with good competition and some good weather.

The weekend before we had our first club race to do some testing which resulted in a good basic set-up for the start of the Nationals. The base was made from last years last outdoor races.

As from the beginning the car was doing really great. It was the best when it was a little colder. On warm conditions I need to find some improvements on creating more front steering and bite without losing the rear.

As it is my local track I was ‘favorite’ from the beginning and didn’t disappoint as I was doing the fastest laps on Saturday in stock class. I also did some testing with new tires to have a good starting point for the Sunday. With some good confidence I went home and prepared the car for the races on Sunday. In the first controlled practice run it immediately was clear I was doing the fastest times. This also was the case in Q1 and Q2 to secure pole position. In Q3 I did some set-up changing to test something. But didn’t work out as I hoped so for the finals I went back to my ‘old’ set-up.

For me the finals were really easy as nobody came really close to me. Behind me were some battles for position 2 and 3 which of course didn’t help them to get to me.

Again I was really happy with the handling and performance of the car! I’m looking forward to the TOS and ETS on my local track!

Great job Jakub !

Original report from Jakub Klapacs:

Last weekend was the finale of the Grand Prix Malopolska series in Poland. The fourth event from the series as usual was very popular, drivers from Poland, the Czech Republic and France participated to the whole series.

After 3 rounds, were I won two of them in the 13.5t stock class, I was leader of the category.

Jakub Klapacz / TM E4RS4 wins Grand Prix Malopolska series in Poland

I was well prepared, the day before I came to the training to check the different settings for high traction ETS carpet. The track was very difficult this time, mistake cost a lot of time, but my Team Magic e4rs4 worked very well from the beginning, my only change was the body.

In the qualifying I only took second place. In the finals I wanted to attack the first place, in A2 I almost made it, but the great ride of Arkadiusz Smyk did not allow for a better result in these competitions. However, in the general classification with a point advantage I won.

Hard work paid !  I’m now looking forward to asphalt season.
