The Swiss Championship season 2023 is already history with the last race in Arlesheim. The RC Racing Club Arlesheim has organized a good event, many thanks from us.
Sporting it went once again very well for the Schmids. Nico was not to be beaten in this race in 2WD as well as in 4WD. Florian who is in recruit school at the moment and therefore only started in the 2WD class could drive on the 7th place.
In the overall ranking Nico wins the 2WD and the 4WD championship title. Florian can secure the vice title in the 2WD class.
Dieter Schmid could defend the title in the 2WD Stock class and with the Monster it was enough for rank 3.
Congratulations.
Now it goes for Nico to Phoenix in the USA to the world championship, we wish him much success and above all much fun.
First of all a big thank you to all involved helpers, clubs and our chairman Hansruedi Embacher for the work done.
Unfortunately, the number of participants in 2023 was in part somewhat meager – it is difficult to say why this might be. A positive aspect was that one or two young pilots were able to draw attention to themselves:
Joel Rubli who could win the championship title in the Monsters or the Viezemeisterin in the 4WD class Lynn Blatter who was the only one this year to defeat Nico in a race.
A big thumbs up for these top performances.
